e-mail rx from AR vic
Hello Allan,
Nice to hear from you. The VK3RTS/95 beacon on 10.112MHz is a
low powered device of 5 watts which is currently in central Victoria BUT
will pop up from various locations around the state in coming months. The 10.112MHz was allocated and coordinated by the WIA after taking into
account that the Amateur Service is a secondary user of the band, existing
beacons and other amateur radio activity. That frequency was the best
compromise.
If you are able to provide a signal report on the beacon I would be most
pleased to put you in the log for a QSL card,
Rgds Jim Linton VK3PC.
